110 1 David prophesieth of the power and everlasting kingdom given to Christ, 4 and of his Priesthood, which should put an end to the Priesthood of Levi.
A Psalm of David.
1 The [a]Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy power out of [b]Zion: be thou ruler in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall come willingly at the time of assembling [c]thine army in holy beauty: the youth of thy womb shall be as the morning dew.
4 The Lord sware, and will not repent, Thou art a Priest forever, after the order of [d]Melchizedek.
23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were written even in a book,
24 And graven with [a]an iron pen in lead, or in stone forever!
25 For I am sure that my [b]Redeemer liveth, and he shall stand the last on the earth.
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet shall I see God [c]in my flesh.
27 Whom I myself shall see, and mine eyes shall behold, and none other for me, though my reins are consumed within me.
14 [a]These things write I unto thee, trusting to come very shortly unto thee.
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest yet know, how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the [b]house of God, which is the Church of the living God, the [c]pillar and ground of truth.
16 [d]And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness, which is, God is manifested in the flesh, [e]justified in the Spirit, seen of Angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.
