Psalm 96

96 1 An exhortation both to the Jews and Gentiles to praise God for his mercy.  And this specially ought to be referred to the kingdom of Christ.

Sing [a]unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord all the earth.

Sing unto the Lord, and praise his Name: declare his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people.

For the Lord is [b]great and much to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the people are [c]idols: but the Lord [d]made the heavens.

[e]Strength and glory are before him: power and beauty are in his Sanctuary.

Give unto the Lord, ye families of the people: give unto the Lord glory and [f]power.

Give unto the Lord the glory of his Name: bring [g]an offering, and enter into his courts.

Worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuary: tremble before him all the earth.

10 Say among the [h]Nations, The Lord reigneth: Surely the world shall be stable, and not move, and he shall judge the people [i]in righteousness.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad: let the sea roar, and all that therein is.

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it: let all the [j]trees of the wood then rejoice,

13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the people in his truth.

Zephaniah 3:8-13

Therefore [a]wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for I am determined to gather the nations, and that I will assemble the kingdoms to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce wrath: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Surely [b]then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord to serve him [c]with one consent.

10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, the [d]daughter of my dispersed, praying unto me, shall bring me an offering.

11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for [e]all thy works, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then will I take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice of thy pride, and thou shalt no more be proud of mine holy mountain.

12 Then will I leave in the midst of thee an humble and poor people: and they shall trust in the Name of the Lord.

13 The remnant of Israel shall do none iniquity, nor speak lies: neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall be fed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Romans 10:5-13

[a]For Moses thus describeth the righteousness which is of the Law, (A)That the man which doeth these things, shall live thereby.

But the righteousness which is of faith, speaketh on this wise, (B)[b]Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is to bring Christ from above.)

Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is to bring Christ again from the dead.)

[c]But what saith it? (C)The [d]word is near thee, even in thy mouth, and in thine heart. This is the word of faith which we preach.

[e]For if thou shalt [f]confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart, that [g]God raised him up from the dead, thou shalt be saved:

10 For with the heart man [h]believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth man confesseth to salvation.

11 [i]For the Scripture saith, (D)Whosoever [j]believeth in him, shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Grecian: for he that is Lord over all, is rich unto all that call on him.

13 (E)[k]For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord, shall be saved.
