Psalm 105:1-6

Psalm 105(A)

Oh, give thanks unto the Lord; call upon His name;
    make known His deeds among the peoples.
Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him;
    proclaim all His wondrous works.
Glory in His holy name;
    let the heart rejoice for those who seek the Lord.
Seek the Lord and His strength;
    seek His presence continuously.

Remember His marvelous works that He has done;
    His wonders and the judgments from His mouth,
O offspring of Abraham, His servant,
    O children of Jacob, His chosen ones.

Psalm 105:37-45

37 Then He brought them out with silver and gold,
    and no one among their tribes faltered.
38 Egypt was glad when they left,
    for the fear of Israel fell upon them.

39 He spread a cloud for a covering,
    and fire to give light in the night.
40 The people asked, and He brought quail,
    and satisfied them with abundant bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out;
    they ran in the desert like a river.

42 For he recalled His holy promise
    to Abraham His servant.
43 He brought forth His people with joy,
    and His chosen ones with gladness,
44 and gave them the lands of the nations,
    and they took possession of the fruitful labor of the people,
45 that they might observe His statutes
    and keep His laws.

Praise the Lord!

Exodus 15:22-27

The Waters of Marah and Elim

22 Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the Wilderness of Shur, and they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. 23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore, the name of it was called Marah. 24 So the people murmured against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

25 And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he had thrown it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

There He made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He tested them. 26 He said, “If you diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will not afflict you with any of the diseases with which I have afflicted the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there by the waters.

2 Corinthians 13:1-4

Final Warnings and Greetings

13 This is the third time I am coming to you. “In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”[a] I told you before, and foretell as if I were present the second time. And being absent now, I write to those who have sinned before, and to all the others, that if I come again, I will not spare anyone, since you seek proof of Christ speaking through me, who toward you is not weak, but is mighty in you. For though He was crucified through weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. So also we are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God serving you.
