Psalm 121

My Help Comes from Yahweh

A Song of Ascents.

121 I will (A)lift up my eyes to (B)the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My (C)help comes from Yahweh,
Who (D)made heaven and earth.
[a]He will not (E)allow your foot to stumble;
[b]He who (F)keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will not slumber and will not sleep.

Yahweh is your (G)keeper;
Yahweh is your (H)shade on your right hand.
The (I)sun will not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
Yahweh will (J)keep you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
Yahweh will (K)keep your going out and your coming in
(L)From now until forever.

Exodus 13:1-10

Sanctifying the Firstborn

13 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, (A)Sanctify to Me every firstborn, the first [a]offspring of every womb among the sons of Israel, both of man and beast; it belongs to Me.”

The Feast of Unleavened Bread

And Moses said to the people, “(B)Remember this day in which you went out from Egypt, from the house of [b]slavery; for (C)by a strong hand Yahweh brought you out from this place. (D)And nothing leavened shall be eaten. This day, in the (E)month of Abib, you are going out. And it shall be when Yahweh (F)brings you to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which (G)He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, (H)that you shall [c]do this service in this month. For (I)seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to Yahweh. Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and (J)nothing leavened shall be seen [d]among you, nor shall any leaven be seen [e]among you in all your borders. (K)And you shall tell your son on that day, saying, ‘It is because of what Yahweh did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ And (L)it will be as a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the law of Yahweh may be in your mouth; for with (M)a strong hand Yahweh brought you out of Egypt. 10 Therefore, you shall (N)keep this statute at its appointed time from [f]year to year.

Matthew 21:18-22

The Barren Fig Tree

18 (A)Now in the morning, when He was returning to the city, He became hungry. 19 And seeing a lone (B)fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only; and He *said to it, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered.

20 And seeing this, the disciples marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither all at once?” 21 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, (C)if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. 22 And (D)all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
