Psalm 105:1-11

105 1 He praiseth the singular grace of God, who hath of all the people of the world chosen a peculiar people to himself, and having chosen them, never ceaseth to do them good, even for his promise’s sake.

Praise the Lord, and call upon his Name: [a]declare his works among the people.

Sing unto him, sing praise unto him, and talk of all his wondrous works.

Rejoice in his holy Name, let the heart of them that seek the Lord, rejoice.

Seek the Lord and his [b]strength: seek his face continually.

Remember his [c]marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the [d]judgments of his mouth,

Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, which are his elect.

He is the Lord our God: his judgments are through all the earth.

He hath always remembered his covenant, and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,

Even that which he [e]made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac:

10 And since hath confirmed it to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 Saying, [f]Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.

Psalm 105:45

45 That they might [a]keep his statutes, and observe his Laws. Praise ye the Lord.

Genesis 29:9-14

¶ While he talked with them, Rachel also came with her father’s sheep, for she kept them.

10 And as soon as Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother’s brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother, then came Jacob near, and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother.

11 And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice and wept.

12 (For Jacob told Rachel, that he was her father’s [a]brother, and that he was Rebekah’s son) then she ran and told her father.

13 And when Laban heard tell of Jacob his sister’s son, he ran to meet him, and embraced him and kissed him, and brought him to his house: and he told Laban [b]all these things.

14 To whom Laban said, Well, thou art my [c]bone and my flesh, and he abode with him the space of a month.

Acts 7:44-53

44 [a]Our fathers had the Tabernacle of [b]witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto (A)Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

45 (B)Which tabernacle also our fathers [c]received, and brought in with Jesus into the [d]possession of the Gentiles, which God drove out [e]before our fathers, unto the days of David:

46 (C)Who found favor before God, and desired that he might find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

47 (D)[f]But Solomon built him an house.

48 Howbeit the most High (E)dwelleth not in temples made with hands, as saith the Prophet,

49 (F)Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build for me, saith the Lord? or what place is it that I should rest in?

50 Hath not mine hand made all these things?

51 (G)[g]Ye stiff-necked and of [h]uncircumcised hearts and ears, ye have always resisted the holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you.

52 Which of the Prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them, which showed before of the coming of that Just, of whom ye are now the betrayers and murderers,

53 (H)Which have received the law by the [i]ordinance of Angels, and have not kept it.
