Version
Psalm 13

Prayer for Help in Trouble.

For the music director. A Psalm of David.

13 How long, Lord? Will You (A)forget me forever?
How long (B)will You hide Your face from me?
How long am I to (C)feel anxious in my soul,
With (D)grief in my heart all the day?
How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

(E)Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
(F)Enlighten my eyes, or I will (G)sleep the sleep of death,
And my enemy will (H)say, “I have overcome him,”
And (I)my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.

But I have (J)trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall (K)rejoice in Your salvation.
I will (L)sing to the Lord,
Because He has (M)looked after me.

Micah 7:18-20

18 Who is a God like You, who (A)pardons wrongdoing
And passes over a rebellious act of the (B)remnant of His [a]possession?
He does not (C)retain His anger forever,
Because He (D)delights in mercy.
19 He will again take pity on us;
(E)He will trample on our wrongdoings.
Yes, You will (F)cast all [b]their sins
Into the depths of the sea.
20 You will give [c](G)truth to Jacob
And favor to Abraham,
Which You (H)swore to our forefathers
From the days of old.

Galatians 5:2-6

Look! I, (A)Paul, tell you that if you have yourselves (B)circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you. And I (C)testify again to every man who has himself (D)circumcised, that he is obligated to (E)keep the whole Law. You have been severed from Christ, you who [a]are seeking to be justified by the [b]Law; you have (F)fallen from grace. For we, [c]through the Spirit, [d]by faith, are (G)waiting for the hope of righteousness. For in (H)Christ Jesus (I)neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but (J)faith working through love.
