Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Version
Exodus 24:12-18

12 Then Adonai said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the Torah and the mitzvot, which I have written so that you may instruct them.”

13 So Moses rose up along with his attendant Joshua, and Moses went up onto the mountain of God. 14 To the elders he said, “Wait for us here until we come back to you. See, Aaron and Hur are with you—whoever has a dispute should go to them.”

15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it. 16 The glory of Adonai settled upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. Then on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 The appearance of the glory of Adonai was like a consuming fire[a] on the top of the mountain in the sight of Bnei-Yisrael. 18 So Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and went up onto the mountain. Moses was on the mountain 40 days and 40 nights.

Psalm 2

Coronation of Messianic King

Psalm 2

Why are the nations in an uproar,
and the peoples mutter vanity?
The kings of earth set themselves up[a]
and rulers conspire together[b] against Adonai
and against His Anointed One[c]:
“Let’s rip their chains apart,
and throw their ropes off us!”
He who sits in heaven laughs!
Adonai mocks them.
So He will speak to them in His anger,
and terrify them in His fury:
“I have set up My king
upon Zion, My holy mountain.”

I will declare the decree of Adonai.
He said to me: “You are My Son—
today I have become Your Father.[d]
Ask Me,
and I will give the nations as Your inheritance,
and the far reaches of the earth as Your possession.
You shall break the nations with an iron scepter.[e]
You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s jar.”[f]

10 So now, O kings, be wise,
take warning, O judges of the earth!
11 Serve Adonai with fear,
and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest He become angry,
and you perish along your way—
since His wrath may flare up suddenly.
Happy is everyone taking refuge in Him!

Psalm 99

Worship at His Holy Hill

Psalm 99

Adonai reigns, let the peoples tremble.
He is enthroned upon the cheruvim—let the earth shake!
Adonai is great in Zion
and He is exalted above all the peoples.
Let them praise Your great
and awesome Name: holy is He.
The might of a king loves justice.
You have established fairness.
You executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.
Exalt Adonai our God
and worship at His footstool: holy is He.

Moses and Aaron were among His kohanim
also Samuel among those calling on His Name.
They called on Adonai and He answered them.
He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud.
They kept His testimonies, and the decree that He gave them.
Adonai our God, You answered them.
A forgiving God You were to them, though You avenged their misdeeds.
Exalt Adonai our God,
and worship at His holy hill,
for holy is Adonai our God.

2 Peter 1:16-21

Distinguishing True Testimony from Tales

16 For we did not follow cleverly concocted tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, a voice came to Him from the Majestic Glory: “This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased!” [a] 18 And we ourselves heard this voice come out of heaven, when we were with Him on the holy mountain. [b] 19 Furthermore, we have the reliable prophetic word. You do well by paying attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. [c] 20 Above all understand this: no prophecy of Scripture comes about from a person’s own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever brought forth by human will; rather, people spoke from God as they were moved by the Ruach ha-Kodesh.[d]

Matthew 17:1-9

Two Witnesses and a Voice from Heaven

17 After six days, Yeshua takes with Him Peter and Jacob and John his brother, and brings them up a high mountain by themselves. Now He was transfigured before them; His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Yeshua. Peter responded to Yeshua, “Master, it’s good for us to be here! If You wish, I will make three sukkot here—one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”[a]

While He was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice from out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”[b]

When the disciples heard this, they fell face down, terrified. But Yeshua came and touched them. “Get up,” He said. “Stop being afraid.” And lifting their eyes, they saw no one except Yeshua alone.

As they were coming down from the mountain, Yeshua commanded them, saying, “Do not tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”
