21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 145

145 I will extol Thee, my God, O King; and I will bless Thy name for ever and ever.

Every day will I bless Thee, and I will praise Thy name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts.

I will speak of the glorious honor of Thy majesty, and of Thy wondrous works.

And men shall speak of the might of Thy fearsome acts, and I will declare Thy greatness.

They shall abundantly utter the memory of Thy great goodness, and shall sing of Thy righteousness.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and of great mercy.

The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.

10 All Thy works shall praise Thee, O Lord, and Thy saints shall bless Thee.

11 They shall speak of the glory of Thy Kingdom and talk of Thy power,

12 to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts and the glorious majesty of His Kingdom.

13 Thy Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

14 The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all wait upon Thee, and Thou givest them their meat in due season.

16 Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and holy in all His works.

18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.

19 He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.

20 The Lord preserveth all them that love Him, but all the wicked will He destroy.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever.

Isaiah 54:1-8

54 “Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear! Break forth into singing and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife,” saith the Lord.

Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations; spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.

For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

“Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed; neither be thou confounded, for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

For thy Maker is thine husband” the Lord of hosts is His name” and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; the God of the whole earth shall He be called.

For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused,” saith thy God.

“For a small moment have I forsaken thee, but with great mercies will I gather thee.

In a little wrath I hid My face from thee for a moment, but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.

Romans 12:9-21

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

10 Have kindly affection one for another with brotherly love, in honor preferring one another;

11 not slothful in business; fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing instant in prayer;

13 distributing to the necessity of saints, given to hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and curse not.

15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17 Recompense no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath; for it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay,saith the Lord.”

20 Therefore: “If thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink. For in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.”

21 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
