Version
Psalm 29

29 Give to the LORD, you sons of the Mighty. Give to the LORD glory and strength.

Give to the LORD glory due His Name. Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters. The God of Glory makes it thunder. The LORD is upon the great waters.

The voice of the LORD is mighty. The voice of the LORD is glorious.

The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Indeed, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

He also makes them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Shirion like a young unicorn.

The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

The voice of the LORD makes the wilderness tremble. The LORD makes the wilderness of Kadesh tremble.

The voice of the LORD makes the hinds calve and discovers the forests. In His Temple, every man speaks of His Glory.

10 The LORD sits upon the floods; and the LORD remains King forever.

11 The LORD shall give strength to His people. The LORD shall bless His people with peace. A Psalm or song of the dedication of the House of David.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

To all things there is an appointed time, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot that which is planted,

a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones, a time to embrace and a time to be far from embracing,

a time to seek and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away,

a time to tear and a time to sow, a time to keep silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate, a time of war and a time of peace.

What profit does the worker have from the thing in which he works?

10 I have seen the work that God has given to the sons of men by which to humble them.

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set the world in their heart, yet man cannot find out the work that God has done from the beginning to the end.

12 I know that there is nothing better for him than to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13 And also that every man eats and drinks and sees the good of all his labor. This is the gift of God.

14 I know that whatever God shall do, it shall be forever. No man can add to it, and from it no one can subtract. For God has done it so that they would fear before Him.

15 Whatever has already been, is now. And whatever shall be, has already been. For God requires that which is past.

1 Corinthians 2:11-16

11 For what man knows the things of a man, except the spirit of a man, which is in him? So also, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit, Who is from God, that we might know the things that are given to us from God,

13 of which things we also speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but those which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

14 But the natural man does not perceive the things of the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he who is spiritual, discerns all things. Yet, he himself is judged by no one.

16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he might instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
