New Life Version (NLV)
Version
Psalm 147:12-20

12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! 13 For He has made your gates strong. He has made good come to your children within you. 14 He makes peace within your walls. He fills you with the best grain. 15 He sends His Word to the earth. And His Word runs fast. 16 He gives snow like wool. He spreads ice like ashes. 17 He throws down His ice as hail stones. Who can stand before His cold? 18 He sends out His Word and melts them. He makes His wind blow and the waters flow. 19 He speaks His Word to Jacob, and His Law to Israel. 20 He has not done this with any other nation. They do not know His Law. Praise the Lord!

2 Chronicles 1:7-13

That night God showed Himself to Solomon and said to him, “Ask Me for anything and I will give it to you.” Solomon said to God, “You have acted toward my father David with great loving-kindness. And You have made me king in his place. Now, O Lord God, Your promise to my father David has come true. For You have made me king over as many people as the dust of the earth. 10 Now give me wisdom and much understanding, that I may lead these people. For who can rule this great nation of Yours?” 11 God said to Solomon, “You have not asked for riches, much money, or honor, or the life of those who hate you. And you have not asked for a long life for yourself. But you have asked for wisdom and much understanding, that you may rule My people over whom I have made you king. Because this was in your heart, 12 wisdom and much understanding have been given to you. And I will give you riches and much money and honor. You will have more than all the kings who were before you, and more than all who will come after you.”

Solomon’s Power and Riches

13 So Solomon went from the place of worship at Gibeon, from the meeting tent to Jerusalem. There he ruled over Israel.

Mark 13:32-37

32 But no one knows the day or the hour. No! Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows.

33 “Be careful! Watch and pray. You do not know when it will happen. 34 The coming of the Son of Man is as a man who went from his house to a far country. He gave each one of his servants some work to do. He told the one standing at the door to watch. 35 In the same way, you are to watch also! You do not know when the Owner of the house will be coming. It may be in the evening or in the night or when the sun comes up or in the morning. 36 He may come when you are not looking for Him and find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to all. Watch!”
