Version
Micah 5:2-5

“And you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, are small among the thousands of Judah. Yet out of you shall He come forth to Me Who shall be the Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from the beginning, from everlasting.”

Therefore, He will give them up until the time that she who shall bear has given birth. Then the remnant of their brethren shall return to the children of Israel.

And He shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the Name of the LORD his God. And they shall abide. For now shall He be magnified to the ends of the world.

And He shall be our peace when Assyria shall come into our land. When He shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise seven shepherds against him, and eight principal men.

Luke 1:46-55

46 Then Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord.

47 “And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

48 “For He has looked on the poor degree of His servant. For behold, from now on all ages shall call me blessed.

49 “Because He Who is mighty has done great things for me, and Holy is His Name.

50 “And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him.

51 “He Who showed strength with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52 “He has put down the mighty from their seats and exalted those of low degree.

53 “He has filled the hungry with good things and sent away the rich empty.

54 “He has upheld Israel, His servant, to be mindful of His mercy,

55 “(as He has spoken to our fathers – that is, to Abraham and his seed) forever.”

Psalm 80:1-7

80 Hear, O You Shepherd of Israel, You Who leads Joseph like sheep. Show Your brightness, You Who sits between the Cherubims.

Stir up Your strength before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh and come to help us.

Turn us again, O God, and cause Your face to shine, so that we may be saved.

O LORD God of Hosts, how long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people?

You have fed them with the bread of tears and given them tears to drink with great measure.

You have made us a point of contention to our neighbors; and our enemies laugh at us among themselves.

Turn us again, O God of Hosts. Cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

Hebrews 10:5-10

Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, “Sacrifice and offering You do not desire, but a body have You prepared for Me.

“In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have had no pleasure.

“Then I said, ‘Lo, I come. In the beginning of the book it is written of Me, that I should do Your will, O God’.”

Previously, when He said, “Sacrifice and offering, and burnt offerings, and sin offerings, You do not desire, nor had pleasure therein (which are offered by the Law).”

Then He said, “Lo, I come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first, so that He may establish the second.

10 By which will we are sanctified; by the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Luke 1:39-45

39 And Mary arose in those days and quickly went into the hill country, to a city of Judah,

40 and entered into the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.

41 And it happened that, as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby sprang in her belly. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost.

42 And she cried with a loud voice, and said, “Blessed are you among women, because the fruit of your womb is blessed!

43 “And how can it be that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

44 “For lo, as soon as I heard the voice of your greeting in my ears, the baby in my belly sprang for joy!

45 “And blessed is she who believed. For those things shall be completed, which were told her from the Lord.
