Psalm 18:20-30

20 The Lord has (A)rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the (B)cleanness of my hands He has repaid me.
21 For I have (C)kept the ways of the Lord,
And have (D)not acted wickedly against my God.
22 For all (E)His judgments were before me,
And I did not put away His (F)statutes from me.
23 I was also [a](G)blameless with Him,
And I (H)kept myself from my wrongdoing.
24 Therefore the Lord has (I)repaid me according to my righteousness,
According to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.

25 With (J)the faithful You show Yourself faithful;
With the [b]blameless (K)You prove Yourself blameless;
26 With the pure You show Yourself (L)pure,
And with the crooked (M)You show Yourself [c]astute.
27 For You (N)save an afflicted people,
But You humiliate (O)haughty eyes.
28 For You (P)light my lamp;
The Lord my God (Q)illumines my darkness.
29 For by You I can (R)run at a [d]troop of warriors;
And by my God I can (S)leap over a wall.

30 As for God, His way is [e](T)blameless;
The (U)word of the Lord is refined;
He is a (V)shield to all who take refuge in Him.

Ruth 2:15-23

15 When she got up to glean, Boaz commanded his servants, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not [a]insult her. 16 Also you are to purposely slip out for her some grain from the bundles and leave it so that she may glean, and do not rebuke her.”

17 So she gleaned in the field until evening. Then she beat out what she had gleaned, and it was about an [b]ephah of barley. 18 And she picked it up and went into the city, and her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned. She also took some out and (A)gave [c]Naomi what she had left after [d]she was satisfied. 19 Her mother-in-law then said to her, “Where did you glean today and where did you work? May he who (B)took notice of you be blessed.” So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked, and said, “The name of the man with whom I worked today is Boaz.” 20 Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “(C)May he be blessed of the Lord who has not withdrawn His kindness from the living and from the dead.” Again Naomi said to her, “The man is our relative; he is one of our (D)redeemers.” 21 Then Ruth the Moabitess said, “[e]Furthermore, he said to me, ‘You are to stay close to my servants until they have finished all my harvest.’” 22 And Naomi said to her daughter-in-law Ruth, “It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his young women, so that others do not assault you in another field.” 23 So she stayed close by the young women of Boaz in order to glean until (E)the end of the barley harvest and the wheat harvest. And she lived with her mother-in-law.

Romans 12:17-21

17 (A)Never repay evil for evil to anyone. [a](B)Respect what is right in the sight of all people. 18 If possible, (C)so far as it depends on you, (D)be at peace with all people. 19 (E)Never take your own revenge, beloved, but [b]leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “(F)Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 (G)But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 13:8-10

Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for (A)the one who loves [a]his neighbor has fulfilled the Law. For this, “(B)You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “(C)You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love [b]does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore (D)love is the fulfillment of the Law.
