21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 104:1-9

104 Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honor and majesty—

who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain;

who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters, who maketh the clouds His chariot, who walketh upon the wings of the wind;

who maketh His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire;

who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should never be removed.

Thou covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.

At Thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of Thy thunder they hastened away.

They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which Thou hast founded for them.

Thou hast set a boundary that they may not pass over, that they turn not again to cover the earth.

Psalm 104:24

24 O Lord, how manifold are Thy works! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy riches.

Psalm 104:35

35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the Lord, O my soul! Praise ye the Lord!

Job 37

37 “At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.

Hear attentively the noise of His voice, and the sound that goeth out of His mouth.

He directeth it under the whole heaven, and His lightning unto the ends of the earth.

After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of His excellency, and He will not stay them when His voice is heard.

God thundereth marvelously with His voice; great things doeth He, which we cannot comprehend!

For He saith to the snow, ‘Be thou on the earth’; likewise to the small rain and to the great rain of His strength.

He sealeth up the hand of every man, that all men may know His work.

Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

Out of the south cometh the whirlwind, and cold out of the north.

10 By the breath of God frost is given, and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

11 Also by watering He wearieth the thick cloud; He scattereth His bright cloud,

12 and it is turned round about by His counsels, that they may do whatsoever He commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

13 He causeth it to come—whether for correction, or for His land, or for mercy.

14 “Hearken unto this, O Job; stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.

15 Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of His cloud to shine?

16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?

17 How thy garments are warm, when He quieteth the earth by the south wind?

18 Hast thou with Him spread out the sky, which is strong and as a molten looking glass?

19 Teach us what we shall say unto Him, for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

20 Shall it be told Him that I speak? If a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

21 And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds, but the wind passeth and cleanseth them.

22 Fair weather cometh out of the north; with God is fearsome majesty.

23 Concerning the Almighty, we cannot find Him out; He is excellent in power and in judgment, and abounding in justice; He will not afflict.

24 Men do therefore fear Him; He respecteth not any that are wise of heart.”

Revelation 17

17 And there came one of the seven angels, who had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, “Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment upon the great whore who sitteth upon many waters,

with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, and having seven heads and ten horns.

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and bedecked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication;

and upon her forehead was a name written: Mystery, Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.

And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.

And the angel said unto me, “Why dost thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition; and they that dwell on the earth, whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, shall wonder when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

“And here is the mind which hath wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sitteth.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other has not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, yet is one of the seven and goeth into perdition.

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet, but will receive power as kings for one hour with the beast.

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them; for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

15 And he saith unto me, “The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples and multitudes, and nations and tongues.

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

17 For God hath put into their hearts to fulfill His will and to agree, and to give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

18 And the woman whom thou sawest is that great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”
