Psalm 24

The King of Glory Entering Zion.

A Psalm of David.

24 The (A)earth is the Lord’s, and [a]all it contains,
The (B)world, and those who dwell in it.
For He has (C)founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.
Who may (D)ascend into the (E)hill of the Lord?
And who may stand in His holy (F)place?
He who has (G)clean hands and a (H)pure heart,
Who has not (I)lifted up his soul [b]to falsehood
And has not (J)sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive a (K)blessing from the Lord
And [c](L)righteousness from the God of his salvation.
[d]This is the generation of those who (M)seek Him,
Who seek Your face—even Jacob. [e]Selah.

(N)Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O [f]ancient doors,
That the King of (O)glory may come in!
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord (P)strong and mighty,
The Lord (Q)mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O [g]ancient doors,
That the King of (R)glory may come in!
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of (S)hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah.

Exodus 25:10-22

Ark of the Covenant

10 (A)They shall construct an ark of acacia wood two and a half [a]cubits [b]long, and one and a half cubits [c]wide, and one and a half cubits [d]high. 11 You shall (B)overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and you shall make a gold molding [e]around it. 12 You shall cast four gold rings for it and [f]fasten them on its four feet, and two rings shall be on one side of it and two rings on the other side of it. 13 You shall make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 14 You shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark with them. 15 The (C)poles shall [g]remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be removed from it. 16 You shall (D)put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you.

17 “You shall (E)make a [h]mercy seat of pure gold, two and a half [i]cubits [j]long and one and a half cubits [k]wide. 18 You shall make two cherubim of gold, make them of hammered work [l]at the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 Make one cherub [m]at one end and one cherub [n]at the other end; you shall make the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at its two ends. 20 (F)The cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings and [o]facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the mercy seat. 21 (G)You shall put the mercy seat [p]on top of the ark, and (H)in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you. 22 (I)There I will meet with you; and from above the mercy seat, from (J)between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about all that I will give you in commandment for the sons of Israel.

Colossians 2:1-5

You Are Built Up in Christ

For I want you to know how great a (A)struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are at (B)Laodicea, and for all those who have not [a]personally seen my face, that their (C)hearts may be encouraged, having been (D)knit together in love, and attaining to all (E)the wealth [b]that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a (F)true knowledge of (G)God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all (H)the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (I)I say this so that no one will delude you with (J)persuasive argument. For even though I am (K)absent in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, rejoicing [c]to see [d]your (L)good discipline and the (M)stability of your faith in Christ.
