21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 115

115 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy and for Thy truth’s sake.

Why should the heathen say, “Where now is their God?”

But our God is in the heavens; He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not.

They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not.

They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither speak they through their throat.

They that make them are like unto them; so is everyone that trusteth in them.

O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: He is their help and their shield.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: He is their help and their shield.

11 Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: He is their help and their shield.

12 The Lord hath been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.

13 He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.

14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15 Ye are blessed by the Lord who made heaven and earth.

16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth hath He given to the children of men.

17 The dead praise not the Lord, neither do any that go down into silence.

18 But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord!

Exodus 28:29-38

29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel on the breastplate of judgment upon his heart when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the Lord continually.

31 “And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue;

32 and there shall be a hole in the top of it, in the middle thereof. It shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of a jacket of mail, that it be not rent.

33 And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue and of purple and of scarlet round about the hem thereof, and bells of gold between them round about:

34 a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.

35 And it shall be upon Aaron when he ministers; and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord and when he cometh out, that he die not.

36 “And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold and engrave upon it, like the engravings of a signet: Holiness to the Lord.

37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the miter; upon the forefront of the miter it shall be.

38 And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts. And it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.

Philippians 1:3-11

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

always in my every prayer for you all making request with joy,

for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now,

being confident of this very thing, that He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the Day of Jesus Christ.

It is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel, ye are all partakers of my grace.

For God is my record how greatly I long for you all in the compassion of Jesus Christ.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment,

10 that ye may approve things that are excellent, and that ye may be sincere and without offense until the Day of Christ,

11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
