118 O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever!
2 Let Israel now say that His mercy endureth for ever.
14 The Lord is my strength and song, and has become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord hath chastened me sorely, but He hath not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord”
20 this gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise Thee, for Thou hast heard me and art become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders refused has become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is the Lord’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
3 “By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth; I sought him, but I found him not.
2 I will rise now and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth. I sought him, but I found him not.
3 The watchmen that go about the city found me, to whom I said, ‘Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?’
4 It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth. I held him and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.
5 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up nor awake my love, till he please.”
6 “Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?
7 Behold his bed, which is Solomon’s; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.
8 They all hold swords, being expert in war; every man hath his sword upon his thigh, because of fear in the night.
9 King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon;
10 he made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love for the daughters of Jerusalem.
11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold King Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him on the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.”
16 And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint Him.
2 And very early in the morning on the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun.
3 And they said among themselves, “Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?”
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away, for it was very large.
5 And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were frightened.
6 And he said unto them, “Be not afraid. Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. Behold the place where they laid Him.
7 But go your way. Tell His disciples and Peter that He goeth before you into Galilee. There shall ye see Him, as He said unto you.”
8 And they went out quickly and fled from the sepulcher, for they trembled and were amazed; neither said they any thing to any man, for they were afraid.
