Psalm 110:1-4

Psalm 110

A Psalm of David.

The Lord (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah), Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool.(A)

The Lord will send forth from Zion the scepter of Your strength; rule, then, in the midst of Your foes.(B)

Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, who are as the dew.

The Lord has sworn and will not revoke or change it: You are a priest forever, after the manner and order of Melchizedek.(C)

Job 19:23-27

23 Oh, that the words I now speak were written! Oh, that they were inscribed in a book [carved on a tablet of stone]!

24 That with an iron pen and [molten] lead they were graven in the rock forever!

25 For I know that my Redeemer and Vindicator lives, and at last He [the Last One] will stand upon the earth.(A)

26 And after my skin, even this body, has been destroyed, then from my flesh or without it I shall see God,

27 Whom I, even I, shall see for myself and on my side! And my eyes shall behold Him, and not as a stranger! My heart pines away and is consumed within me.

1 Timothy 3:14-16

14 Although I hope to come to you before long, I am writing these instructions to you so that,

15 If I am detained, you may know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and stay (the prop and support) of the Truth.

16 And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [[a]God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.
