Psalm 19

The Works and the Word of God.

For the choir director. A Psalm of David.

19 The (A)heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their (B)expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
Day to (C)day pours forth speech,
And (D)night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard.
Their [a](E)line has gone out through all the earth,
And their utterances to the end of the world.
In them He has (F)placed a tent for the sun,
Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber;
It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.
Its (G)rising is from [b]one end of the heavens,
And its circuit to the [c]other end of them;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

(H)The law of the Lord is [d](I)perfect, (J)restoring the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is (K)sure, making (L)wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are (M)right, (N)rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is (O)pure, (P)enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are (Q)true; they are (R)righteous altogether.
10 They are more desirable than (S)gold, yes, than much fine gold;
(T)Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them (U)Your servant is warned;
In keeping them there is great (V)reward.
12 Who can (W)discern his errors? (X)Acquit me of (Y)hidden faults.
13 Also keep back Your servant (Z)from presumptuous sins;
Let them not (AA)rule over me;
Then I will be [e](AB)blameless,
And I shall be acquitted of (AC)great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and (AD)the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, (AE)my rock and my (AF)Redeemer.

Exodus 23:14-19

Three National Feasts

14 (A)Three times a year you shall celebrate a feast to Me. 15 You shall observe (B)the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the (C)month Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. And [a](D)none shall appear before Me empty-handed. 16 Also you shall observe (E)the Feast of the Harvest of the first fruits of your labors from what you sow in the field; also the Feast of the Ingathering at the end of the year (F)when you gather in the fruit of your labors from the field. 17 (G)Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord [b]God.

18 (H)You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; (I)nor is the fat of My [c]feast to remain overnight until morning.

19 “You shall bring (J)the choice first fruits of your soil into the house of the Lord your God.

(K)You are not to boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.

Philippians 2:14-18

14 Do all things without (A)grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will [a]prove yourselves to be (B)blameless and innocent, (C)children of God above reproach in the midst of a (D)crooked and perverse generation, among whom you [b](E)appear as [c]lights in the world, 16 holding [d]fast the word of life, so that in (F)the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not (G)run in vain nor (H)toil in vain. 17 But even if I am being (I)poured out as a drink offering upon (J)the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all. 18 You too, I urge you, rejoice in the same way and share your joy with me.

Philippians 3:1-4

The Goal of Life

Finally, my brethren, (A)rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.

Beware of the (B)dogs, beware of the (C)evil workers, beware of the [a]false circumcision; for (D)we are the true [b]circumcision, who (E)worship in the Spirit of God and (F)glory in (G)Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh, although (H)I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more:
