12 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

² This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

³ Speak unto all the assembly of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month let them take themselves each a lamb, for a father's house, a lamb for a house.

⁴ And if the household be too small for a lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take [it] according to the number of the souls; each according to [the measure] of his eating shall ye count for the lamb.

⁵ Your lamb shall be without blemish, a yearling male; ye shall take [it] from the sheep, or from the goats.

⁶ And ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month; and the whole congregation of the assembly of Israel shall kill it between the two evenings.

⁷ And they shall take of the blood, and put [it] on the two door-posts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.

⁸ And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter [herbs] shall they eat it.

⁹ Ye shall eat none of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with its in-wards.

¹⁰ And ye shall let none of it remain until the morning; and what remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

¹¹ And thus shall ye eat it: your loins shall be girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste; it is Jehovah's passover.

¹² And I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am Jehovah.

¹³ And the blood shall be for you as a sign on the houses in which ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be among you for destruction, when I smite the land of Egypt.

¹⁴ And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall celebrate it [as] a feast to Jehovah; throughout your generations [as] an ordinance for ever shall ye celebrate it.

149 Hallelujah! Sing unto Jehovah a new song; [sing] his praise in the congregation of the godly.

² Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.

³ Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing psalms unto him with the tambour and harp.

⁴ For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people; he beautifieth the meek with salvation.

⁵ Let the godly exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds.

⁶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand:

⁷ To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples;

⁸ To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

⁹ To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah!

⁸ Owe no one anything, unless to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law.

⁹ For, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not lust; and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

¹⁰ Love works no ill to its neighbour; love therefore [is the] whole law.

¹¹ This also, knowing the time, that it is already time that *we* should be aroused out of sleep; for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.

¹² The night is far spent, and the day is near; let us cast away therefore the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

¹³ As in the day, let us walk becomingly; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and lasciviousness, not in strife and emulation.

¹⁴ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not take forethought for the flesh to [fulfil its] lusts.

¹⁵ But if thy brother sin against thee, go, reprove him between thee and him alone. If he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

¹⁶ But if he do not hear [thee], take with thee one or two besides, that every matter may stand upon the word of two witnesses or of three.

¹⁷ But if he will not listen to them, tell it to the assembly; and if also he will not listen to the assembly, let him be to thee as one of the nations and a tax-gatherer.

¹⁸ Verily I say to you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on the earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever ye shall loose on the earth shall be loosed in heaven.

¹⁹ Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it may be that they shall ask, it shall come to them from my Father who is in [the] heavens.

²⁰ For where two or three are gathered together unto my name, there am I in the midst of them.
