Version
Psalm 47

47 All people, clap your hands! Sing loud to God with a joyful voice!

For the LORD is high and terrible, a great King over all the Earth.

He has subdued the people under us and the nations under our feet.

He has chosen our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom He loved. Selah.

God has gone up with triumph, the LORD with the sound of the trumpet.

Sing praises to God! Sing praises! Sing praises to our King! Sing praises!

For God is the King of all the Earth. Sing praises with understanding.

God reigns over the heathen. God sits upon His Holy Throne.

The princes of the people are gathered to the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the world belong to God. He is greatly exalted! A song or Psalm committed to the sons of Korah.

1 Kings 18:36-39

36 And when they were to offer the sacrifice, Elijah the Prophet came and said, “LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel! Let it be known this day, that You are the God of Israel, and that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your Commandment!

37 “Hear me, O LORD, hear me! And let this people know that You are the LORD God! And that You have turned their hearts back again!”

38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the Burnt Offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the ditch.

39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces, and said, “The LORD is God! The LORD is God!”

1 John 4:1-6

Dearly beloved, do not believe every spirit. But test the spirits to see if they are of God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.

By this you shall know the Spirit of God: Every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God.

And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, is not of God. But this is the spirit of Antichrist, of whom you have heard; how that he would come and is now already in this world.

Little children, you are of God; and have overcome them! For greater is He Who is in you than he who is in this world.

They are of this world. Therefore, they speak of this world. And this world hears them.

We are of God. The one who knows God hears us. The one who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error.
