Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
13 How long will You forget me, O LORD? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
2 How long shall I take counsel within myself, having weariness daily in my heart? How long shall my enemy be exalted above me?
3 Behold. Hear me, O LORD, my God. Enlighten my eyes, so that I do not sleep in death,
4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him.” And those who afflict me rejoice when I slide.
5 But I trust in Your mercy. My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because He has dealt lovingly with me. To him who excels: A Psalm of David.
23 So he went up from there to Beersheba.
24 And the LORD appeared to him the same night, and said, “I am the God of Abraham, your father. Do not fear. I am with you and will bless you and multiply your seed for My servant, Abraham’s, sake.”
25 Then he built an altar there and called upon the Name of the LORD and spread his tent there (where also Isaac’s servants had dug a well).
17 Then He said to His disciples, “It is impossible for stumbling blocks not to come. But, but woe to him by whom they come.
2 “It would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 “Pay attention to yourselves. If your brother trespasses against you, rebuke him. And if he repents, forgive him.
4 “And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turns again to you, saying, ‘I repent’, you shall forgive him.”
