Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
13 How long will You forget me, O LORD? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
2 How long shall I take counsel within myself, having weariness daily in my heart? How long shall my enemy be exalted above me?
3 Behold. Hear me, O LORD, my God. Enlighten my eyes, so that I do not sleep in death,
4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him.” And those who afflict me rejoice when I slide.
5 But I trust in Your mercy. My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because He has dealt lovingly with me. To him who excels: A Psalm of David.
18 Who is a God like You, Who takes away iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage! He does not retain His wrath forever, because mercy pleases Him.
19 He will turn again and have compassion upon us. He will subdue our iniquities and cast all their sins into the bottom of the sea.
20 You will perform truth to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, as You have sworn to our fathers in days of old.
2 Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if you shall become circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3 For I testify again to every man who is circumcised, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law.
4 You are severed from Christ. Whoever is justified by the Law, you are fallen from grace.
5 For we, through the Spirit, wait for the hope of righteousness through faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith (which works by love).
