Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
Trust in the Salvation of the Lord
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
13 How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever?
(A)How long will You hide Your face from me?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul,
Having sorrow in my heart daily?
How long will my enemy be exalted over me?
3 Consider and hear me, O Lord my God;
(B)Enlighten my eyes,
(C)Lest I sleep the sleep of death;
4 Lest my enemy say,
“I have prevailed against him”;
Lest those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
5 But I have trusted in Your mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that (A)if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised (B)that he is [a]a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 (C)You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; (D)you have fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly (E)wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For (F)in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but (G)faith working through love.
