Psalm 13

To the Overcomer, A Psalm of David.

¶ How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes lest I sleep the sleep of death,

lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

I will sing unto the LORD because he has dealt bountifully with me.

Micah 7:18-20

18 Who is a God like unto thee that pardons iniquity, and passes over the rebellion with the remnant of his heritage? He did not retain his anger for ever because he delights in mercy.

19 He will turn again, he will have mercy on us; he will subdue our iniquities; and will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the times of old.

Galatians 5:2-6

Behold, I, Paul, say unto you that if ye become circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

For I testify again to every man that becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Ye are empty of the Christ, whosoever of you that justify yourselves by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything nor uncircumcision, but faith which works by charity.
