Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
86 Bow down Your ear, O LORD, and hear me; for I am poor and needy.
2 Preserve my soul, for I am merciful. My God, save Your servant who trusts in You.
3 Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I cry upon You continually.
4 Rejoice the soul of Your servant. For to You, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
5 For You, LORD, are good and merciful and of great kindness to all those who call upon You.
6 Give ear, LORD, to my prayer and pay attention to the voice of my supplication.
7 In the day of my trouble, I will call upon You; for You hear me.
8 Among the gods there is none like You, O LORD; and there are none like Your works.
9 All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O LORD, and shall glorify Your Name.
10 For You are great and do wondrous things. You are God, alone.
43 Also, the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the Law of the Passover: No stranger shall eat thereof.
44 “But, every servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
45 “A stranger or a hired servant shall not eat thereof.
46 “It shall be eaten in one house. You shall carry none of the flesh out of the house, nor shall you break a bone thereof.
47 “All the Congregation of Israel shall observe it.
48 “But, if a stranger who dwells with you wishes to observe the Passover of the LORD, let him circumcise all the males who belong to him; and then let him come and observe it. And he shall be as one who was born in the land. For no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 “One Law shall be for him who is born in the land and to the stranger who dwells among you.”
5 For He has not put the world to come (whereof we speak) in subjection to the angels.
6 But one in a certain place witnessed, saying, “What is man that You should be mindful of him; or the son of man that You would consider him?
7 “You made him a little inferior to the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor and have set him above the works of Your Hands.
8 “You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” And in that He has put all things in subjection under him, He left nothing that should not be subject to him. But we still do not see all things subjected to him.
9 But we see Jesus, who was made little inferior to the angels, crowned with glory and honor through the suffering of death. That by God’s grace He might taste death for everyone.
