Version
Psalm 126

126 When the LORD brought back the captives of Zion, we were like those who dream.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joy. Then they said among the heathen, “The LORD has done great things for them.”

The LORD has done great things for us! We rejoice!

O LORD, bring back our captives as the rivers in the south.

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

They went weeping and carried precious seed. They shall return with joy and bring their sheaves. A song of degrees, or Psalm, of Solomon

Nehemiah 9:1-8

On the twenty-fourth day of this month, the children of Israel were assembled, with fasting and with sackcloth and earth upon them.

And those who were of the seed of Israel were separated from all the strangers. And they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.

And they stood up in their place and read in the Book of the Law of the LORD their God for one fourth of the day. And they confessed and worshipped the LORD their God four times.

Then Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani and Chenani stood up upon the stairs of the Levites and cried with a loud voice to the LORD their God.

And the Levites (Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah and Pethahiah) said, “Stand up and praise the LORD your God forever and ever! And let them praise Your glorious Name, O God, which excels above all thanksgiving and praise!

“You are LORD alone! You have made heaven, and the Heaven of all heavens, with all their host, the Earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that are in them! And You preserve them all! And the host of Heaven worships You!

“You are, O LORD, the God Who has chosen Abram, and brought him out of Ur in Chaldeans, and made his name Abraham,

“and found his heart faithful before You, and made a Covenant with him, to give to his seed the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites, and have performed Your words because You are just!

Luke 6:12-19

12 And it happened that in those days He went into a mountain to pray. And He spent the night in prayer to God.

13 And when it was day, He called His disciples. And He chose twelve of them (whom He also called Apostles):

14 Simon (whom He also named Peter) and Andrew (his brother), James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,

15 Matthew and Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zealous,

16 Judas brother of James, and Judas Iscariot (who was also the traitor).

17 Then He came down with them and stood in a plain place with the crowd of His disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judea and Jerusalem and from the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon. They came to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases.

18 And those who were tormented by foul spirits were healed.

19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him. For power went out of Him and healed them all.
