Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
8 ¶ O bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard.
9 It is he who placed our soul into life and did not suffer our feet to slip.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us; thou hast refined us as silver is refined.
11 Thou didst bring us into the net; thou didst lay affliction upon our loins.
12 Thou hast placed a man over our head; we went through fire and through water, but thou didst bring us out into abundance.
13 ¶ I will go into thy house with burnt offerings; I will pay thee my vows,
14 which my lips have uttered and my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he has done unto my soul.
17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19 But verily God has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer nor his mercy from me.
13 ¶ And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year of Noah, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth, and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried.
15 ¶ And God spoke unto Noah, saying,
16 Go forth from the ark, thou and thy wife and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
17 Bring forth with thee every animal that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl and of beasts and of every creeping thing that moves upon the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
18 And Noah went forth and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him;
19 all the animals, every creature and every fowl and whatever moves upon the earth after their kinds went forth out of the ark.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 ¶ Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice because I said, I go unto the Father; for my Father is greater than I.
29 And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
