Psalm 122

122 1 David rejoiceth in the name of the faithful, that God hath accomplished his promise and placed his Ark in Zion. 5 For the which he giveth thanks, 8 And prayeth for the prosperity of the Church.

A song of degrees, or Psalm of David.

I (A)[a]rejoiced when they said to me, We will go into the house of the Lord.

Our [b]feet shall stand in thy gates, O Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is built as a city, that is [c]compact together in itself:

Whereunto [d]the Tribes, even the Tribes of the Lord go up according to the testimony to Israel, to praise the Name of the Lord.

For there are thrones set for judgment, even the thrones of the house of [e]David.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: let them prosper that love thee.

Peace be within thy [f]walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

For my [g]brethren and neighbors’ sakes, I will wish thee now prosperity.

Because of the House of the Lord our God, I will procure thy wealth.

Genesis 6:11-22

11 The earth also was corrupt before God: for the earth was filled with [a]cruelty.

12 Then God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt: for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, [b]An end of all flesh is come before me: for the earth is filled with [c]cruelty [d]through them: and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

14 ¶ Make thee an Ark of [e]pine trees: thou shalt make [f]cabins in the Ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

15 And [g]thus shalt thou make it: the length of the Ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

16 A window shalt thou make in the Ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above, and the door of the Ark shalt thou set in the side thereof: thou shalt make it with the [h]low, second, and third room.

17 And I, behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life under heaven: all that is in the earth shall perish.

18 But with thee will I [i]establish my covenant, and thou shalt go into the Ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

19 And of every living thing of all flesh two of every sort shalt thou cause to come into the Ark, to keep them alive with thee: they shall be male and female.

20 Of the fowls, after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, that thou mayest keep them alive.

21 And take thou with thee of all meat that is eaten: and thou shalt gather it to thee, that it may be meat for thee and for them.

22 (A)Noah therefore did according unto all that God commanded him: even [j]so did he.

Matthew 24:1-22

24 2 The destruction of the Temple. 4 The signs of Christ’s coming. 12 Iniquity. 23 False Christs. 29 The signs of the end of the world. 31 The Angels. 32 The fig tree. 37 The days of Noah. 42 We must watch. 45 The servant.

And (A)Jesus went out, and departed from the Temple, and his disciples came to him, to show him the building of the Temple.

[a]And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, (B)there shall not be here left a stone upon a stone, that shall not be cast down.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, his disciples came unto him apart, saying, Tell us when these things shall be, and what sign shall be of thy coming, and of the end of the world.

[b]And Jesus answered, and said unto them, (C)Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many.

And ye shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars: see that ye be not (D)troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the [c]end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and realm against realm, and there shall be famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in [d]divers places.

All these are but the beginning of [e]sorrows.

(E)Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my Name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall be increased, the love of many shall be cold.

13 (F)[f]But he that endureth to the end, he shall be saved.

14 And this [g]Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached through the whole [h]world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.

15 [i]When ye (G)therefore shall see the [j]abomination of desolation spoken of by (H)Daniel the Prophet, set in the holy place (let him that readeth consider it.)

16 Then let them which be in Judea, flee into the mountains.

17 Let him which is on the housetop, not come down to fetch anything out of his house.

18 And he that is in the field, let not him return back to fetch his [k]clothes.

19 And woe shall be to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days.

20 But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the (I)[l]Sabbath day.

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the world to this time, nor shall be.

22 And except [m]those days should be shortened, there should no [n]flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
