12 And you shall say on that day, “O Lord, I will praise You! Though You were angry with me, Your wrath has turned away, and You comfort me!

² “Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and will not fear! For the LORD God is my strength and song. He has also become my salvation!”

³ Therefore, with joy shall you draw waters out of the wells of salvation.

⁴ And you shall say on that day, “Praise the LORD! Call upon His Name! Declare His works among the people! Make mention of them, for His Name is exalted!

⁵ “Sing to the LORD! For He has done excellent things! This is known in all the world!

⁶ “Cry out, and shout, O inhabitant of Zion! For great is the Holy One of Israel, in the midst of you.”

¹⁵ Yea, truth fails. And he who refrains from evil makes himself a prey. And when the LORD saw it, it displeased Him that there was no judgment.

¹⁶ And when He saw that there was no man, He wondered that none would offer himself. Therefore, His Arm saved it, and His righteousness itself sustained it.

¹⁷ For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon His Head. And He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

¹⁸ As a recompense, to requite the fury of the adversaries (a recompense to His enemies), He will fully repay the islands.

¹⁹ So shall they fear the Name of the LORD from the West, and His Glory from the rising of the Sun. For the enemy shall come like a flood. But the Spirit of the LORD shall chase him away.

²⁰ “And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and to those who turn from iniquity in Jacob,” says the LORD.

²¹ “And I will make this My Covenant with them,” says the LORD, “My Spirit, Who is upon you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of the seed of your seed,” says the LORD, “from henceforth, even forever.”

²⁰ And when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them, and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation.

²¹ “Nor shall they say, ‘Lo, here!’ or ‘Lo, there!’ For behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”

²² And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you shall not see it.

²³ “Then they shall say to you, ‘Behold here!’or ‘Behold there!’ Do not go there or follow them.

²⁴ “For as the lightning that flashes out of one part of Heaven, shines into another part of Heaven, so shall the Son of Man be on His day.

²⁵ “But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

²⁶ “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man.

²⁷ “They ate, they drank, they married wives and gave in marriage, until the day that Noah went into the Ark. And the flood came and destroyed them all.

²⁸ “Also, as it was in the days of Lot. They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built.

²⁹ “But on the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from Heaven, and destroyed them all.

³⁰ “So shall it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

³¹ “On that day, the one who is upon the house (and his stuff in the house), let him not come down to take it out. And likewise, the one who is in the field, let him not turn back to that which he left behind.

³² “Remember Lot’s wife.

³³ “Whoever will seek to save his soul, shall lose it. And whoever shall lose it, shall preserve it.

³⁴ “I tell you, on that night there shall be two in one bed. The one shall be received, and the other shall be left.

³⁵ “Two women shall be grinding together. The one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

³⁶ “Two shall be in the field. One shall be received, and another shall be left.”

³⁷ And they answered, and said to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there also shall the birds of prey be gathered together.”
