Isaiah 12

12 A thanksgiving of the faithful for the mercies of God.

And thou [a]shalt say in that day, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thy wrath is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

Behold, God is my [b]salvation: I will trust, and will not fear: for the Lord God is (A)my strength and song: he is also become my salvation.

Therefore with joy shall ye [c]draw waters out of the wells of salvation.

And ye shall say in that day, (B)Praise the Lord: call upon his Name: declare his works among the people: make mention of them, for his Name is exalted.

Sing unto the Lord, for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the world.

Cry out, and shout, [d]O inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy one of Israel in the midst of thee.

Isaiah 59:15-21

15 Yea, truth faileth, and he that refraineth from evil, maketh himself [a]a prey: and when the Lord saw it, it displeased him, that there was no judgment.

16 And when he saw that there was no man, he wondered that none would offer himself. [b]Therefore his arm did [c]save it, and his righteousness itself did sustain it.

17 For he put on righteousness, as an habergeon, and an [d]helmet of salvation upon his head, and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

18 As to make recompense, as to requite the fury of the adversaries with a recompense to his enemies: he will fully repair the [e]islands.

19 So shall they fear the Name of the Lord from the West, and his glory from the rising of the Sun; for the enemy shall [f]come like a flood; but the Spirit of the Lord shall chase him away.

20 And the Redeemer shall come unto Zion, and unto [g]them that turn from iniquity in Jacob, saith the Lord.

21 And I will make this my Covenant with them, saith the Lord, My Spirit that is upon thee, and my words, which I have put in thy mouth, [h]shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of the seed of thy seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth even forever.

Luke 17:20-37

20 [a]And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them, and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with [b]observation.

21 Neither shall men say, Lo here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdom of God is [c]within you.

22 [d]And he said unto the disciples, the days will come, when ye shall desire to see [e]one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

23 (A)[f]Then they shall say to you, Behold here, or behold there: but go not thither, neither follow them.

24 For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven, so shall the Son of man be in his day.

25 But first must he suffer many things and be reproved of this generation.

26 (B)[g]And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of man.

27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, and gave in marriage unto the day that Noah went into the Ark: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 (C)Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built.

29 But in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 After these examples shall it be in the day when the son of man revealed.

31 [h]At that day he that is upon the house, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it out: and he that is in the field likewise, let him not turn back to that he left behind.

32 (D)Remember Lot’s wife.

33 (E)Whosoever will seek to save his soul, shall loose it: and whosoever shall loose it, shall [i]get it life.

34 (F)I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed: the one shall be received, and the other shall be left.

35 Two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

36 Two shall be in the field: one shall be received, and another shall be left.

37 [j]And they answered, and said to him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, (G)Wheresoever the body is, thither shall also the eagles be gathered together.
