Version
Psalm 87

87 1 The holy Ghost promiseth, that the condition of the Church which was in misery after the captivity of Babylon, should be restored to great excellency. 4 So that there should be nothing more comfortable, than to be numbered among the members thereof.

A Psalm or song committed to the sons of Korah.

God laid his [a]foundations among the holy mountains.

The Lord loveth the gates of Zion above all the habitations of Jacob.

[b]Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

I will make mention of [c]Rahab and Babel among them that know me: behold Palestine and Tyre with Ethiopia, [d]There is he born.

And of Zion it shall be said, [e]Many are born in her: and he, even the most High shall stablish her.

The Lord shall count, when he [f]writeth the people, He was born there. Selah.

As well the singers as the players on instruments shall praise thee: all my [g]springs are in thee.

Joel 3:17-20

17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, mine holy Mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers go [a]through her anymore.

18 And in that day shall the mountains [b]drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall run with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the House of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

19 [c]Egypt shall be waste, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the injuries of the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

20 But Judah shall dwell forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

Matthew 21:28-32

28 [a]But what think ye? A certain man had two sons, and came to the elder, and said, Son, go and work today in my vineyard.

29 But he answered, and said, I will not: yet afterward he repented himself, and went.

30 Then came he to the second, and said likewise. And he answered, and said, I will, Sir: yet he went not.

31 Whether of them twain did the will of the father? They said unto him, The first. Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the Publicans and the harlots [b]go before you into the kingdom of God.

32 For John came unto you in the [c]way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the Publicans and the harlots believed him, and ye though ye saw it, were not moved with repentance afterward, that ye might believe him.
