Psalm 60

60 O God, You have cast us out. You have scattered us. You have been angry. Turn again to us.

You have made the land tremble and have made it gape. Heal the breaches thereof, for it is shaken.

You have shown Your people heavy things. You have made us drink the wine of giddiness.

You have given a banner to those who fear You, so that it may be displayed, because of Your truth. Selah.

So that Your beloved may be delivered, help with Your right hand and hear me.

God has spoken in His holiness, “I will rejoice. I shall divide Shechem and measure the valley of Succoth.

“Gilead shall be Mine, and Manasseh shall be Mine. Ephraim also shall be the strength of My head. Judah is My lawgiver.

“Moab shall be My washpot. I will cast out My shoe over Edom. Philistia show yourself joyful for Me.”

Who will lead me into the strong city? Who will bring me to Edom?

10 Will not you, O God, Who has cast us off; Who did not go forth, O God, with our armies?

11 Give us help against trouble. For vain is the help of man.

12 Through God we shall do valiantly; for He shall tread down our enemies. To him who excels on Neginoth: A Psalm of David

Hosea 11:12-12:14

12 “Ephraim surrounds Me with lies, and the House of Israel with deceit. But Judah still rules with God and is faithful with the saints.”

12 Ephraim is fed with the wind and follows after the East wind. He increases daily lies and destruction. And they make a covenant with Assyria. And oil is carried into Egypt.

Also, the LORD has a dispute with Judah and will visit Jacob, according to His ways. According to His works, will He recompense him.

He took his brother by the heel in the womb; and by his strength he contended with God

and had power over the Angel and prevailed. He wept and prayed to Him. He found Him in Bethel. And He spoke with us there.

Yea, the LORD God of Hosts. The LORD is His own memorial.

Therefore, turn to your God! Keep mercy and judgment and continue to hope in your God.

Canaan! The balances of deceit are in his hand. He loves to oppress.

And Ephraim said, “Nevertheless, I am rich! I have found wealth for myself in all my labors! They shall find no iniquity in me that is wickedness.”

“Though I am the LORD your God, from the land of Egypt, yet will I make you dwell in the tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn Feast.

10 “I have also spoken by the Prophets. And I have multiplied visions and used similitudes by the ministry of the Prophets.”

11 Is there iniquity in Gilead? Surely, they are worthless. They sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal. And their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the field.

12 And Jacob fled into the country of Aram. And Israel served for a wife. And for a wife he kept sheep.

13 And by a Prophet, the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt. And by a Prophet he was preserved.

14 Ephraim provoked Him with high places. Therefore, his blood shall be poured upon him. And his LORD shall reward him with his reproach.

Colossians 3:18-4:1

18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as it is fitting in the Lord.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be embittered toward them.

20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for that is well-pleasing to the Lord.

21 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

22 Servants, in all things, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service as man-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.

23 And whatever you do, work from your soul, as to the Lord, and not to man,

24 knowing that you shall receive the reward of the inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ.

25 But the one who does wrong shall be repaid for the wrong that he has done. And there is no respect of persons.

Masters, do to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a master in Heaven.
