Version
Luke 1:46-55

46 Then Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord.

47 “And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

48 “For He has looked on the poor degree of His servant. For behold, from now on all ages shall call me blessed.

49 “Because He Who is mighty has done great things for me, and Holy is His Name.

50 “And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him.

51 “He Who showed strength with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52 “He has put down the mighty from their seats and exalted those of low degree.

53 “He has filled the hungry with good things and sent away the rich empty.

54 “He has upheld Israel, His servant, to be mindful of His mercy,

55 “(as He has spoken to our fathers – that is, to Abraham and his seed) forever.”

Micah 4:6-8

“At the same time,” says the LORD, “I will gather she who halts, and I will gather she who is cast out, and she whom I have afflicted.

“And I will make her who limps a remnant, and her who was cast far off a mighty nation. And the LORD shall reign over them on Mount Zion, from now until forever.

“And you, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter Zion! To you it shall come. The former dominion kingdom shall come to the daughter Jerusalem.”

2 Peter 1:16-21

16 For we did not follow cunningly-devised fables when we opened to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. But we saw His majesty with our own eyes.

17 For He received honor and glory from God the Father when there came such a voice to Him from that excellent Glory: “This is my beloved Son, in Whom I am well-pleased.”

18 And this voice we heard when it came from Heaven, being with Him on the Holy Mount.

19 We also have the enduring Word of the Prophets—to which you do well to pay attention, as to a light that shines in a dark place—until the Day dawns and the Day Star arise in your hearts.

20 So that you first know this: that no Prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the Prophecy did not come by the will of man. But holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
