3 LORD, how my adversaries are increased? How many rise against me?

² Many say to my soul, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah.

³ But You, LORD, are a buckler for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

⁴ I called to the LORD with my voice, and He heard me out of His Holy Mountain. Selah.

⁵ I laid down and slept; and rose up again. For the LORD sustained me.

⁶ I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who should beset me all around.

⁷ O LORD, arise! Help me, my God! For You have struck all my enemies upon the cheekbone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

⁸ Salvation belongs to the LORD. And Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah. To him who excels on Neginoth: A Psalm of David.

²² Then Solomon stood before the Altar of the LORD, in the sight of all the Congregation of Israel, and stretched out his hands toward Heaven,

²³ and said, “O LORD God of Israel! There is no God like You in Heaven above or on the Earth beneath, You Who keep Covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart;

²⁴ “You Who have kept with Your servant David, my father, that You have promised him. For You spoke with Your Mouth and have fulfilled it with Your Hand, as it is this day.

²⁵ “Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with Your servant David, my father, that You have promised him, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man in My sight to sit upon the throne of Israel, so that your children attend to their way, so that they walk before Me, as you have walked in My sight.’

²⁶ “And now, O God of Israel, I pray, let Your Word be verified which You spoke to your servant David, my father.

²⁷ “Is it indeed true that God will dwell on the Earth? Behold, the heavens, and the heavens of heavens, are not able to contain You! How much more so is this House that I have built?

²⁸ “But have respect to the prayer of Your servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hear the cry and prayer which Your servant prays before You this day!

²⁹ “So that Your Eyes may be open toward this House, night and day, toward the place of which You have said, ‘My Name shall be there,’ so that You may listen to the prayer which Your servant prays in this place.

³⁰ “Hear, therefore, the supplication of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, who pray in this place! And hear in the place of Your habitation, in Heaven! And when You hear, have mercy!

⁹ “But beware. For they shall deliver you up to the councils, and to the synagogues. You shall be beaten and brought before rulers and kings for My sake; for a testimonial to them.

¹⁰ “And the Gospel must first be proclaimed among all nations.

¹¹ “But when they deliver you up, do not be careful beforehand, nor study what you shall say. But speak what is given to you at that time. For it is not you who speaks, but the Holy Ghost.

¹² “Indeed, and the brother shall deliver the brother to death, and the father the son. And the children shall rise against their parents and shall cause them to die.

¹³ “And you shall be hated by all for My Name’s sake. But whoever shall endure to the end, shall be saved.

¹⁴ “Moreover, when you shall see the Abomination of Desolation (spoken of by Daniel the Prophet) set where it ought not be, let whoever hears consider it. Then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains.

¹⁵ “And let no one who is upon the house come down into the house, nor enter into it to fetch anything out of his house.

¹⁶ “And let no one who is in the field turn back again to take his garment.

¹⁷ “Then woe shall be to those who are with child, and to those who nurse in those days.

¹⁸ “Pray, therefore, that your flight is not in the winter.

¹⁹ “For those days shall be such tribulation as was not from the beginning of the Creation (which God created) until this time, nor shall be.

²⁰ “And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved. But for the Elect’s sake (which He has chosen) He has shortened those days.

²¹ “Then, if anyone says to you, ‘Lo, here is Christ’, or ‘Look, he is there’, do not believe it.

²² “For false christs shall rise, and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders to deceive (if it were possible) the very Elect.

²³ “But beware. Behold, I have shown you all things before.
