Version
Psalm 37:12-22

12 The wicked practices against the just and gnashes his teeth against him.

13 The LORD shall laugh him to scorn; for He sees that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn their sword and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy and to slay such as are of upright conversation.

15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart; and their bows shall be broken.

16 A small thing to the just man is better than great riches to the wicked and mighty.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but the LORD upholds the just men.

18 The LORD knows the days of upright men; and their inheritance shall be perpetual.

19 They shall not be confounded in the perilous time; and in the days of famine they shall have enough.

20 But the wicked shall perish; and the enemies of the LORD shall be consumed as the fat of lambs. With the smoke, they shall vanish away.

21 The wicked borrows and does not pay again. But the righteous is merciful and gives.

22 For such as are blessed shall inherit the land. And those who are cursed by Him shall be cut off.

2 Chronicles 9:29-31

29 Concerning the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the Book of Nathan the Prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the Seer against Jeroboam, the son of Nebat?

30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem, over all Israel, for forty years.

31 And Solomon slept with his fathers. And they buried him in the city of David, his father. And Rehoboam, his son, reigned in his place.

Mark 6:35-44

35 And when the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a desert place and now the day is old.

36 “Let them depart, so that they may go into the country and towns nearby and buy bread. For they have nothing to eat.”

37 But He answered, and said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred pennies worth of bread and give them that to eat?”

38 Then He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and look.” And when they had found out, they said, “Five, and two fishes.”

39 So He commanded them to make them all sit down by groups upon the green grass.

40 Then they sat down by rows, by hundreds and by fifties.

41 And He took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looked up to Heaven and gave thanks and broke the loaves and gave them to His disciples to set before them. And He divided the two fishes among them all.

42 So they all ate and were satisfied.

43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments and of the fishes.

44 And those who had eaten were about five thousand men.
