Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
A Psalm of David.
1 ¶ Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD broke the cedars of Lebanon.
6 And He made them skip like calves; Lebanon and Sirion like the sons of the unicorns.
7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
8 The voice of the LORD that shall shake the wilderness; the LORD shall shake the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD shall make the hinds to calve and shall uncover the forests: and in his temple every one speaks to his glory.
10 The LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sat down as King for ever.
11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people in peace.
2 ¶ The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last of the days or times, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be confirmed as the head of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all the Gentiles shall flow unto it.
3 And many peoples shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the Gentiles and shall rebuke many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruninghooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, because the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, that person is not of him.
10 ¶ But if Christ is in you, the body is truly dead because of sin, but the Spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11 And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up the Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
