47 All people, clap your hands! Sing loud to God with a joyful voice!

² For the LORD is high and terrible, a great King over all the Earth.

³ He has subdued the people under us and the nations under our feet.

⁴ He has chosen our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom He loved. Selah.

⁵ God has gone up with triumph, the LORD with the sound of the trumpet.

⁶ Sing praises to God! Sing praises! Sing praises to our King! Sing praises!

⁷ For God is the King of all the Earth. Sing praises with understanding.

⁸ God reigns over the heathen. God sits upon His Holy Throne.

⁹ The princes of the people are gathered to the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the world belong to God. He is greatly exalted! A song or Psalm committed to the sons of Korah.

34 Then Moses went from the plain of Moab up into Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah that is opposite Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan,

² and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the western sea,

³ and the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, to Zoar.

⁴ And the LORD said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your seed.’ I have allowed you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.”

⁵ So Moses, the servant of the LORD, died there in the land of Moab, according to the Word of the LORD.

⁶ And He buried him in a valley, in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor. But no one knows of his sepulcher to this day.

⁷ Moses was now a hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

⁴ “But these things I have told you so that when the hour shall come, you might remember that I told them to you. And these things I did not say to you from the beginning, because I was with you.

⁵ “But now I go My way to Him Who sent Me. And none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’

⁶ “But because I have said these things to you, your hearts are full of sorrow.

⁷ “Yet I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you.

⁸ “And when He comes, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.

⁹ “Concerning sin, because they did not believe in Me;

¹⁰ “concerning righteousness, because I go to My Father, and you shall see Me no more;

¹¹ “concerning judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.”
