Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
God Is King
93 The Lord rules. He is dressed with great power. The Lord has dressed Himself with strength. For sure, the world is built to last. It will not be moved. 2 Your throne is set up from long ago. You have always been. 3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord. The floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their beating waves. 4 The Lord on high is more powerful than the sound of many waters and the strong waves of the sea. 5 Your Word is very sure. O Lord, Your house is holy forever.
18 “Keep these words of mine in your heart and in your soul. Tie them as something special to see upon your hand and on your forehead between your eyes. 19 Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. 20 Write them beside the door of your house and on your gates. 21 And your days and the days of your children will become many in the land the Lord promised to give to your fathers, as long as the heavens are above the earth.
19 After Jesus had talked to them, He was taken up into heaven. He sat down on the right side of God.
20 The followers went from there and preached everywhere. The Lord worked with them. The Lord showed that the Word of God was true by the special works they had power to do.)
