Version
Psalm 107:1-3

¶ O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good; for his mercy endures for ever.

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy

and gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

Psalm 107:17-22

17 ¶ The fools, because of the way of their rebellion, and because of their iniquities, were afflicted.

18 Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near unto the gates of death.

19 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

20 He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their graves.

21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his mercy and for his wonderful works unto the sons of Adam!

22 And let them offer the sacrifices of praise and publish his works with singing.

Numbers 20:22-29

22 ¶ And the sons of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto Mount Hor.

23 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, on the borders of the land of Edom, saying,

24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his peoples; for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the sons of Israel because ye were rebels to my word at the water of Meribah.

25 Take Aaron and Eleazar, his son, and bring them up unto Mount Hor

26 and cause Aaron to be stripped of his garments and put them upon Eleazar, his son; for Aaron shall be gathered unto his people and shall die there.

27 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and they went up into Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.

28 And Moses caused Aaron to be stripped of his garments and put them upon Eleazar, his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount; and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the families of Israel.

John 3:1-13

¶ There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a prince of the Jews;

the same came to Jesus by night and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that thou doest unless God is with him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a person be born again from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again from above.

The wind blows where it desires, and thou hearest the sound of it, but canst not tell from where it comes or where it goes; so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can this be done?

10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a teacher of Israel and knowest not this?

11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee that we speak what we know and testify that which we have seen, and ye do not receive our witness.

12 If I have told you earthly things and ye do not believe, how shall ye believe if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And no one has ascended up to the heaven but he that came down from the heaven, even the Son of man, who is in the heaven.
