Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
105 Praise the LORD! Call upon His Name! Declare His works among the people!
2 Sing to Him! Sing praise to Him! Talk of all His wondrous works!
3 Rejoice in His Holy Name! Let the heart of those who seek the LORD, rejoice!
4 Seek the LORD and His strength. Seek His face continually.
5 Remember His marvelous works that He has done, His wonders and the judgments of His mouth
6 you seed of Abraham His servant, you children of Jacob who are His Elect.
7 He is the LORD our God. His judgments are through all the Earth.
8 He has always remembered His Covenant promise that He made to a thousand generations
9 (which he made with Abraham) and his oath to Isaac.
10 And He has since confirmed it to Jacob for a Law, and to Israel for an everlasting Covenant,
11 saying, “To You I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,”
37 He also brought them forth with silver and gold, and there was no one feeble among their tribes.
38 Egypt was glad at their departing, for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
39 He spread a cloud to be a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 They asked, and He brought quails; and He filled them with the bread of Heaven.
41 He opened the rock and the water flowed out and ran like a river in the dry places.
42 For He remembered His Holy Promise to Abraham, His servant.
43 And He brought forth His people with joy and his chosen with gladness,
44 and gave them the lands of the heathen. And they took the labors of the people in possession,
45 so that they might keep His statutes and observe His Laws. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD
21 Now the LORD visited Sarah, as he had said, and did to her according to His promise.
2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the same season that God told him.
3 And Abraham called his son’s name who was born to him, Isaac (which Sarah bore him).
4 Then Abraham circumcised Isaac, his son, when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.
5 So Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.
6 Then Sarah said, “God has made me rejoice! All who hear will rejoice with me!”
7 Again she said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would have given children suck? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”
8 But to the Son, He says, “O God, Your throne is forever and ever. The scepter of Your Kingdom is a scepter of righteousness.
9 “You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Therefore God - even Your God - has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your associates.”10 And, “You, Lord, established the Earth in the beginning. And the heavens are the works of Your hands.
11 “They shall perish, but You remain. And they all shall grow old, as does a garment.
12 “And as a cloak, You shall fold them up. And they shall be changed. But You are the same. And Your years shall not fail.”
