²³ Praise the LORD, you who fear Him! Magnify Him, all the seed of Jacob; and fear Him, all the seed of Israel!

²⁴ For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the poor. Nor has He hidden His face from Him, but when He called to Him, He heard.

²⁵ My praise shall be of You in the great Congregation. I will perform My vows before those who fear Him.

²⁶ The poor shall eat and be satisfied. Those who seek after the LORD shall praise Him. Your heart shall live forever.

²⁷ All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD; and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before You.

²⁸ For the Kingdom is the LORD’s; and He rules among the nations.

²⁹ All those who are fat on the Earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down into the dust shall bow before Him, even him who cannot quicken his own soul.

³⁰ Their seed shall serve Him. It shall be counted to the LORD for a generation.

³¹ They shall come and shall declare His righteousness to a people who shall be born, because He has done it. A Psalm of David.

⁷ But the Angel of the LORD found her beside a fountain, on the way to Shur.

⁸ And he said, “Hagar, Sarai’s maid, from where have you come? And where are you going?” And she said, “I have fled from my mistress, Sarai.”

⁹ Then, the Angel of the LORD said to her, “Return to your mistress, and humble yourself under her hands.”

¹⁰ Again, the Angel of the LORD said to her, “I will so greatly increase your seed that it shall not be numbered for multitude.”

¹¹ Also, the Angel of the LORD said to her, “See, you are with child and shall bear a son, and shall call his name, ‘Ishmael’. For the LORD has heard your tribulation.

¹² “And he shall be a wild man. His hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brothers.”

¹³ Then, she called the Name of the LORD Who spoke to her, “You, God, look upon me!” For she said, “Have I not also looked at the back of Him Who sees me?”

¹⁴ Therefore, the well was called, “Beer Lahai Roi”, between Kadesh and Bered.

¹⁵ And Hagar bore Abram a son. And Abram called the name of his son whom Hagar bore, “Ishmael”.

²⁷ And Jesus went out with His disciples into the towns of Caesarea Philippi. And along the way He asked His disciples, saying to them, “Whom do men say that I am?”

²⁸ And they answered, “Some say, John Baptist. And some, Elijah. And some, one of the Prophets.”

²⁹ And He said to them, “But whom do you say that I am?” Then Peter answered, and said to Him, “You are the Christ.”

³⁰ And He sharply charged them that they should tell no one about Him.
