Version
Psalm 125

125 Those who trust in the LORD shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed but remains forever.

As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so the LORD is around His people from henceforth and forever.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hand to wickedness.

Do well, O LORD, to those who are good and true in their hearts.

But those who turn aside by their crooked ways, they shall be led by the LORD with the workers of iniquity. Peace upon Israel! A song of degrees, or Psalm, of David

Malachi 3:16-4:6

16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke, everyone to his neighbor. And the LORD listened and heard it. And a Book of Remembrance was written before Him for those who feared the LORD, and who thought upon His Name.

17 “And they shall be Mine,” says the LORD of Hosts, “on that Day that I shall make them My possession. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.”

18 Then you shall return and discern between the righteous and wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.

“For behold, the Day comes that shall burn as an oven. And all the proud—yea, and all who do wickedly—shall be stubble. And the Day that comes shall burn them up,” says the LORD of Hosts, “and shall leave them neither root nor branch.

“But to you who fear My Name shall the Sun of righteousness arise. And health shall be under His wings. And you shall go forth and grow up as fat calves.

“And you shall tread down the wicked. For they shall be dust under the soles of your feet on the Day that I shall do this,” says the LORD of Hosts.

Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, which I Commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, with the Statutes and Judgments.

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the Prophet before the coming of the great and fearful Day of the LORD.

“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the Earth with utter destruction.”

Mark 9:9-13

And as they came down from the mountain, He instructed them to tell no one what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead again.

10 So they kept that matter to themselves and asked each another what the ‘rising from the dead again’ might mean.

11 Also they asked Him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”

12 And He answered, and said to them, “Elijah truly shall come first, and restore all things. And as it is written of the Son of Man, He must suffer many things and be rejected.

13 “But I say to you, that Elijah has come. And they have done to him whatever they would, as it is written of him.”
