Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
99 The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble! He sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved!
2 The Lord is great in Zion, and He is high above all the people.
3 Let them praise Thy great and fearsome name, for it is holy.
4 The King’s strength also loveth judgment; Thou dost establish equity; Thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at His footstool, for He is holy!
6 Moses and Aaron are among His priests, and Samuel among them that call upon His name; they called upon the Lord, and He answered them.
7 He spoke unto them in the cloudy pillar; they kept His testimonies and the ordinance that He gave them.
8 Thou didst answer them, O Lord our God; Thou wast a God that forgavest them, though Thou took vengeance on their inventions.
9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.
7 And Moses took the tabernacle and pitched it outside the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass that every one who sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was outside the camp.
8 And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses until he had gone into the tabernacle.
9 And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.
10 And all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door; and all the people rose up and worshiped, every man in his tent door.
11 And the Lord spoke unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he returned again into the camp; but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
9 I wrote unto the church, but Diotrephes, who loveth to have preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
10 Therefore if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words. And not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth those who would, and casteth them out of the church.
11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God, but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself. Yea, of this we also bear record, and ye know that our record is true.
