Psalm 105:1-6

105 Praise the LORD! Call upon His Name! Declare His works among the people!

Sing to Him! Sing praise to Him! Talk of all His wondrous works!

Rejoice in His Holy Name! Let the heart of those who seek the LORD, rejoice!

Seek the LORD and His strength. Seek His face continually.

Remember His marvelous works that He has done, His wonders and the judgments of His mouth

you seed of Abraham His servant, you children of Jacob who are His Elect.

Psalm 105:37-45

37 He also brought them forth with silver and gold, and there was no one feeble among their tribes.

38 Egypt was glad at their departing, for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

39 He spread a cloud to be a covering, and fire to give light in the night.

40 They asked, and He brought quails; and He filled them with the bread of Heaven.

41 He opened the rock and the water flowed out and ran like a river in the dry places.

42 For He remembered His Holy Promise to Abraham, His servant.

43 And He brought forth His people with joy and his chosen with gladness,

44 and gave them the lands of the heathen. And they took the labors of the people in possession,

45 so that they might keep His statutes and observe His Laws. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD

Exodus 16:22-30

22 And on the sixth day, they gathered twice as much bread (two omers per man). Then, all the rulers of the Congregation came and told Moses.

23 And he answered them, “This is that which the LORD has said, ‘Tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath to the LORD. Bake that which you will bake today, and boil that which you will boil; and lay up all that remains, to be kept for yourself until morning.’”

24 And they laid it up until the morning, as Moses instructed. And it did not stink, nor was there any worm in it.

25 Then Moses said, “Eat that today. For today is the Sabbath to the LORD. Today, you shall not find it in the field.

26 “Six days you shall gather it; but the seventh day is the Sabbath. On it, there shall be none.”

27 Nevertheless, some of the people went out to gather on the seventh day; and they found none.

28 And the LORD said to Moses, “How long will you refuse to keep My Commandments, and My Laws?

29 “Behold, how the LORD has given you the Sabbath. Therefore, on the sixth day, He gives you bread for two days. Therefore, every man should remain in his place. Let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.”

30 So, the people rested on the seventh day.

Matthew 19:23-30

23 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you that a rich man shall not easily enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

24 “And again I say to you it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”

25 And when His disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, “Who then can be saved?”

26 And Jesus looked at them, and said to them, “With man this is impossible. But with God, all things are possible.”

27 Then Peter answered, and said to Him, “Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed You. What, therefore, shall we have?”

28 And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you that when the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of His Majesty, you who followed Me in the new birth shall also sit upon twelve thrones, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.

29 “And whoever shall forsake houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My Name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold more, and shall inherit everlasting life.

30 “But many that are first, shall be last. And the last shall be first.
