Psalm 105:1-6

The Lord’s Wonderful Works in Behalf of Israel.

105 Oh (A)give thanks to the Lord, (B)call upon His name;
(C)Make known His deeds among the peoples.
Sing to Him, (D)sing praises to Him;
[a](E)Speak of all His [b]wonders.
[c]Glory in His holy name;
Let the (F)heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.
Seek the Lord and (G)His strength;
(H)Seek His face continually.
Remember His [d](I)wonders which He has done,
His marvels and the (J)judgments [e]uttered by His mouth,
O seed of (K)Abraham, His servant,
O sons of (L)Jacob, His (M)chosen ones!

Psalm 105:16-22

16 And He (A)called for a famine upon the land;
He (B)broke the whole staff of bread.
17 He (C)sent a man before them,
Joseph, who was (D)sold as a slave.
18 They afflicted his (E)feet with fetters,
[a]He himself was laid in irons;
19 Until the time that his (F)word came to pass,
The word of the Lord [b](G)tested him.
20 The (H)king sent and released him,
The ruler of peoples, and set him free.
21 He (I)made him lord of his house
And ruler over all his possessions,
22 To [c]imprison his princes [d](J)at will,
That he might teach his elders wisdom.

Psalm 105:45

45 So that they might (A)keep His statutes
And observe His laws,
[a]Praise [b]the Lord!

Genesis 37:5-11

Then Joseph [a](A)had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him even more. He said to them, “Please listen to this dream which I have [b]had; for behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and lo, my sheaf rose up and also stood erect; and behold, your sheaves gathered around and (B)bowed down to my sheaf.” Then his brothers said to him, “(C)Are you actually going to reign over us? Or are you really going to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.

Now he [c]had still another dream, and related it to his brothers, and said, “Lo, I have [d]had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” 10 He related it to his father and to his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have [e]had? Shall I and your mother and (D)your brothers actually come to bow ourselves down before you to the ground?” 11 (E)His brothers were jealous of him, but his father (F)kept the saying in mind.

Matthew 16:1-4

Pharisees Test Jesus

16 (A)The (B)Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Jesus, they (C)asked Him to show them a [a]sign from heaven. But He replied to them, [b](D)When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ (E)Do you know how to discern the [c]appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times? (F)An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a [d]sign; and a [e]sign will not be given it, except the sign of Jonah.” And He left them and went away.
