105 1 He praiseth the singular grace of God, who hath of all the people of the world chosen a peculiar people to himself, and having chosen them, never ceaseth to do them good, even for his promise’s sake.
1 Praise the Lord, and call upon his Name: [a]declare his works among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing praise unto him, and talk of all his wondrous works.
3 Rejoice in his holy Name, let the heart of them that seek the Lord, rejoice.
4 Seek the Lord and his [b]strength: seek his face continually.
5 Remember his [c]marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the [d]judgments of his mouth,
6 Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, which are his elect.
16 Moreover, he called a famine upon the land, and utterly brake the [a]staff of bread.
17 But he sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a slave.
18 They held his feet in the stocks, and he was laid in irons,
19 Until [b]his appointed time came, and the counsel of the Lord had tried him.
20 The King sent and loosed him: even the Ruler of the people delivered him.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,
22 That he should bind his [c]princes unto his will, and teach his Ancients wisdom.
45 That they might [a]keep his statutes, and observe his Laws. Praise ye the Lord.
5 ¶ And Joseph [a]dreamed a dream, and told his brethren, who hated him so much the more.
6 For he said unto them, Hear, I pray you this dream which I have dreamed.
7 Behold now, we were binding sheaves in the midst of the field: and lo, my sheaf arose and also stood upright, and behold, your sheaves compassed round about, and did reverence to my sheaf.
8 Then his brethren said to him, What, shalt thou reign over us, and rule us? or shalt thou have altogether dominion over us? And they [b]hated him so much the more, for his dreams, and for his words.
9 ¶ Again he dreamed another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have had one dream more, and behold, the Sun and the Moon and eleven stars did reverence to me.
10 Then he told it unto his father and to his brethren, and his father [c]rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this thy dream, which thou hast dreamed? shall I, and thy mother, and thy brethren come indeed and fall on the ground before thee?
11 And his brethren envied him, but his father [d][e]noted the saying.

1 Then (A)[a]came the Pharisees and Sadducees, and did [b]tempt him, desiring him to show them a sign from heaven.
2 But he answered, and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, Fair weather, for the sky is red.
3 (B)And in the morning, ye say, Today shall be a tempest: for the sky is red and lowering. O hypocrites, ye can discern the [c]face of the sky, and can ye not discern the signs of the times?
4 (C)The wicked generation, and adulterous seeketh a sign, but there shall no sign be given it, but [d]that sign of the Prophet (D)Jonah: so he left them, and departed.
