Version
Leviticus 19:1-2

19 A repetition of sundry Laws and Ordinances.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, (A)Ye shall be [a]holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

Leviticus 19:9-18

(A)When ye reap the harvest of your land, ye shall not reap every corner of your field, neither shalt thou gather the [a]gleanings of thy harvest.

10 Thou shalt not gather the grapes of thy vineyard clean, neither gather every grape of thy vineyard, but thou shalt leave them for the poor and for the stranger: I am the Lord your God.

11 ¶ Ye shall not steal, neither [b]deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

12 (B)Also ye shall not swear by my Name falsely, neither shalt thou defile the Name of thy God: I am the Lord.

13 ¶ Thou shalt not do thy neighbor [c]wrong, neither rob him. (C)The workman’s hire shall not abide with thee until the morning.

14 ¶ Thou shalt not curse the deaf, (D)neither put a stumbling block before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord.

15 ¶ Ye shall not do unjustly in judgment: (E)Thou shalt not favor the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty, but thou shalt judge thy neighbor justly.

16 ¶ Thou shalt not [d]walk about with tales among thy people: Thou shalt not [e]stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am the Lord.

17 ¶ Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart, but thou shalt plainly rebuke thy neighbor, [f]and suffer him not to sin.

18 ¶ Thou shalt not avenge, nor be mindful of wrong against the children of thy people, (F)but shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the Lord.

Psalm 119:33-40

HE

33 Teach [a]me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keep it unto the end.

34 Give me understanding and I will keep thy Law, yea, I will keep it with my whole [b]heart.

35 Direct me in the path of thy commandments: for therein is my delight.

36 Incline mine heart unto thy testimonies: and not to [c]covetousness.

37 Turn away mine [d]eyes from regarding vanity, and quicken me in thy way.

38 Stablish thy promise to thy servant, because he feareth thee.

39 Take away [e]my rebuke that I fear: for thy judgments are good.

40 Behold, I desire thy commandments: [f]quicken me in thy righteousness.

1 Corinthians 3:10-11

10 According to the grace of God given to me, as a skillful master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon: [a]but let every man take heed how he buildeth upon it.

11 [b]For other foundation can no man lay, than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:16-23

16 (A)[a]Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man [b]destroy the Temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy, which ye are.

18 [c]Let no man deceive himself: If any man among you seem to be wise in this world, let him be a fool, that he may be wise.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God: for it is written, (B)He [d]catcheth the wise in their own craftiness.

20 (C)And again, The Lord knoweth that the thoughts of the wise be vain.

21 [e]Therefore let no man [f]rejoice in men: for all things are [g]yours.

22 Whether it be Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the [h]world, or life, or death, whether they be things present, or things to come, even all are yours,

23 And ye Christ’s, and Christ God’s.

Matthew 5:38-48

38 [a]Ye have heard that it hath been said, An (A)eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.

39 But I say unto you, (B)Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

41 And whosoever will compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42 (C)Give to him that asketh, and from him that would borrow of thee, turn not away.

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, (D)Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, (E)Love your enemies: bless them that curse you: do good to them that hate you, (F)and pray for them which hurt you, and persecute you,

45 (G)[b]That ye may be the children of your father that is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to arise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and unjust.

46 For if ye love them, which love you, what reward shall you have? Do not the Publicans even the same?

47 And if ye be friendly to your brethren only, what singular thing do ye? do not even the [c]Publicans likewise?

48 Ye shall therefore be perfect, as your Father which is in heaven, is perfect.
