聖霊ホーリースピリットについて語るイエス

37 仮庵祭かりいおさいで最も大切な最終日。イエスは立ち上がり、祭りでにぎわっている民衆に大声で大胆に語りかけた。「誰でも、のどが渇いているならわたしのところへ来て飲みなさい！ 38 聖書にあるとおり、誰でもわたしを信じるなら、心から生きた水が川のように流れだす！」 39 イエスは聖霊ホーリースピリットのことを言ったのだ。聖霊ホーリースピリットはまだ人々に与えられていなかった。イエスがまだ、栄光に引き上げられてはいなかったからだ。しかし、イエスを信じていた人は聖霊ホーリースピリットを受けることを意味していたのだ。
