1ペテロ 4:7-11
神が与えた特別な能力を教会のために活かす
7 世の終わりは近いのだから、頭をクリアにして自分を上手くコントロールしていこう！これはあなた達の祈りにも大きな助けとなるからだ！ 8 何よりも大切なのは、互いへの深い愛を持つということだ。この愛が多くの欠点や過ちを赦す心の豊かさを与えてくれるからだ。 9 互いに家を解放し、信じる者なら誰でも歓迎をし、誰かがごはんに困っているなら文句を言わずに分け合うのだ。 10 神は1人1人に何らかの特別な能力、才能、力、環境などを与えている。それは互いに助け合うために与えられたのだから、教会の助けになる一番の方法でそれを使いなさい。 11 話す才能があるのなら、神からのことばで話しなさい！奉仕の才能があるなら、神が与える力とエネルギーに満たされて奉仕しなさい！そうすればイエス・キリストを通して神が讃えられるだろう！間違いなく力と栄光がいつまでもイエスとともにあるはずだ！アーメン
