いつでも期待し、日頃の準備を
2 絶えず感謝の心を持って祈り、どんなことにも臨機応変に対応できるようにしていなさい。 3 また、私たちのためにも祈っていてほしい。もっと最高な知らせ、つまり神が明かした救い主を伝える機会が増えるようにと祈ってほしい。これが理由で牢屋に入れられた私だが、それでも伝えなければならないのだ。 4 私がこの真理を分かりやすく明確に伝えられるようにと祈ってくれ！ 5 神を信じていない者と時間を過ごす機会があなた達に与えられれば、かしこく時間を最大限に生かすのだ。 6 親切にわかりやすい言葉で、彼らが飲み込みやすいようにしてあげなさい。そして良い受け答えができるように準備をしておきなさい！
